      Hi,

Although you have the claim sentence entered as the title of your post, our script won't pick it up due to the reformatting.

In order for our system to pick this up, you'll need to paste this sentence to the post content. Once your blog has been successfully claimed, please feel free to remove the claim post from your blog.

      All the Best,
      Carri

      Hi Russell,

In taking a look at the source code of your blog this morning, I do not find the claim sentence within the HTML of your blog's template code.

Something in the way your template is set up is preventing our script from reading this properly. I believe it's the use of the style sheet.

Keep in mind that the way we claim blogs follows the way we check for required links when you submit a post to us, so if you are not able to successfully claim your blog, you will not be able to submit any work to us in the future.

Once the claim sentence can be found in the HTML of your blog's template code, you should have no further trouble claiming.

      All the Best,
      Carri

      Hi Ellen,

The claim sentence needs to appear in a new post on the homepage of your blog and cannot appear under a 'read more' link.

If the instructions above do not help, please be sure to provide your blog URL and I would be happy to take a closer look.

I can't claim my blog either. I've posted the sentence which is "This chopped board joins with the poke under the concluded fountain." and I can see it on my home page, I think I've done everything right. The site says it's not there though.

    Could you help please?
    • I tried this again with the phrase "do you wana dance" and clicked HTML instead of post to see if that made a difference, and it didn't. So the phrase changed and I tried something different.

I have been trying to claim both my blogs but I am unable to do so, it keeps saying that there is an error and that the random sentence is not visible on my blog although it is on the first page and at the top first thing you see when you go to my blog. Please help me claim it, I want to get this thing started.

    • Ohh! Thanks Carri, I knew you had the answers, just that you didn't come with the last suggestion earlier :). It WORKS! I have been able to claim without a problem. I have a suggestion, is it possible to put that message above? You will help people who are impatient when it comes to scrolling tens of feedbacks and queries.

You are such a dear, considering how busy you surely must be. Keep up with the superb work.

      Thanks again,

    Hi All,

Jut wanted to add a quick note to those trying to claim a blog using the Dynamic Views Template in Blogger.

The way this template is formatted is just not compatible with our systems and you will not be able to claim it successfully.

This has been reported to Engineering, but has yet to make it into a Sprint. Once it does, it should be resolved (provided we can find a solution) within a few weeks.

Should you revert to a different template, you will be able to claim your blog successfully, but, you may not be able to successfully submit posts once you revert back to the Dynamic Views template.

That being said, we have yet to have anyone reach out to us with post submission errors once their blog has been claimed after changing templates to do so.

So, changing template to claim may be a good workaround for you until we can find a permanent solution.

    All the Best,
    Carri

      Hi,

Workarounds, by nature, are temporary until a permanent solution can be identified and enacted.

Currently, we do not have a permanent solution for this and the workaround is to use a template other than Dyanmic Views in order to participate in PayPerPost or SocialSpark.

      Sorry!

Hello I'm trying to claim my post. The sentence is in my content. Please check www.HairandMakeupBlog.com. The quick link is http://wp.me/pTu9R-Ag. Please correct this for me

    • Carri (Communications & Support) February 21, 2013 22:13
      Hi Monae,

Looks like you posted your claim sentence under a read more link. Unfortunately, our claim script won't verify the claim unless the sentence physically appears on your home page.

If you move this sentence to the top of your post, you should be able to claim successfully and once your blog is claimed, you can remove the claim sentence from your post.

      All the Best,
      Carri

I'm trying to claim my post. The sentence is in my content "How will your filled film house the apparent clause?". Please check www.pattayaemagazine.com.
    • Carri (Communications & Support) March 06, 2013 15:52
      Hi Jim,

It took over a minute for your site to load. Since our script times out after15 seconds, this would definitely cause an error.

The first thing I would do is to look into getting your site to load faster. This should also help you grow your readers as most people are not going to wait for your site to load, they will just move on.

Once you resolve your load time issues, make sure that the claim sentence appears on the homepage of your blog and is visible when the homepage loads. Claim sentences that appear under a 'read more' link will not be verified.

      All the Best,
      Carri
