Hi All,
Jut wanted to add a quick note to those trying to claim a blog using the Dynamic Views Template in Blogger.
The way this template is formatted is just not compatible with our systems and you will not be able to claim it successfully.
This has been reported to Engineering, but has yet to make it into a Sprint. Once it does, it should be resolved (provided we can find a solution) within a few weeks.
Should you revert to a different template, you will be able to claim your blog successfully, but, you may not be able to successfully submit posts once you revert back to the Dynamic Views template.
That being said, we have yet to have anyone reach out to us with post submission errors once their blog has been claimed after changing templates to do so.
So, changing template to claim may be a good workaround for you until we can find a permanent solution.
All the Best,
Carri -
Hi sitemap2006,
To generate a claim sentence, click the 'my account' tab at the top right and then click the 'claim now' link next to your blog URL.

This will provide you a claim sentence and instructions. Copy this sentence create a new post on your blog, paste the claim sentence in the post and click the 'claim now' button.

Hi Eric,
Dev got back to me to let me know that your blog is now claimed. I am not sure that this has corrected the underlying issue, but they seem to feel that this is resolved.
However, should you have problems submitting posts in the future, please be sure to let me know as there are few things I like better than reopening a ticket with an. "I told you so!" :)

i am unable to claim my blog. please help.-
Hi,
I don't see that the blog beautifulglow.blogspot.com has been added to PayPerPost at all. You do first have to add the URL via the 'add blog' button before you can claim it.
You may also want to make sure that you did not enter a typo in your URL. You can check this via the 'my account' tab at the top right of your account and edit it via the pencil symbol to the left of the current URL.

The phrase is there on live site. Do you have suggestions?

Hi Tracy,
The correct URL for your blog is http://www.mobil-mass-money.com/blog and it looks like you have the wrong claim sentence posted to it.
Keep in mind that the claim sentence is unique for each URL. In taking a look at your account this morning, I see that your claim sentence is:
The width strains against the failing hate.
However, when I search the home page of your blog for this sentence, it comes back not found.
Once the claim sentence appears on your blog exactly as provided in your account, you should have no further trouble claiming.

I do not know how much this will help people searching this topic, but also remember. When you have your blog. You should post the "random phrase" sentence that your given on your blogs home-page.
You know the page that loads when you open your blog. Some people think you can just make a post, but if your blog is setup to have a default front page where your posts does not show exactly, you will need to put this phrase on that page to be able to claim your blog. -

I cannot verify my blog during signup because this service keeps removing the "www" from www.lesberatti.tech-gyrl.com and the since the blog is hosted by Google it won't recognize the Url unless the www is added also. Seriously? You need customer service.

First Off There was NO solution specifically target to my issue which is the fact that this service REMOVES the www. from the site www.lesberatti.tech-girl.com.
The www must not be removed or else the blog will not be found. I'm not the problem this site is because it doesn't recognize all urls.
Therefore when I add the verification sentence it isn't found without www in the Url.
If you are a real person then why am I having to repeat this over and over?
my email is:
santosrespond@gmail.com -
-
Thanks!
The PayPerPost system does not take into account the www at the beginning of a URL, so this should make no difference to your claim.
I asked for your email address as I could not find the URL http://www.lesberatti.tech-gyrl.com/ listed at all in PPP.
With your address, I was able to locate your account and successfully add your URL. Now all you need to do is to claim the blog by posting the claim sentence
Do you wanna dance
If you add the sentence and are still not able to claim successfully, please let me know.

Hi Marianna,
In order to claim, the claim sentence needs to appear on your blog exactly as provided in your PayPerPost account.
In taking a look at the source code of your blog this morning, I see that there is an extra space in your sentence which is likely what is causing the error.
However, as I can see that the sentence is posted to your blog, I went ahead and manually claimed this blog in your account.

Hi Tyler,
This would depend on who hosts your blog as they are just a bit different. Do you already have a blog?
Here are a few of our FAQs to help you to get started.
What is a Blog?
A blog is an online journal that you add entries to as often as you like. Although you can write about anything, most bloggers have a few topics or themes about which they write regularly such as news, entertainment, gardening, sports, pets, etc. The most interesting bloggers are those that write frequently about what interests them.
How Do I Create a Blog?
The best way to find out if blogging is for you is to start a blog. There are many sites on the Internet that will help you to set up and maintain a free blog. The best way to find one would be to do a search for “get a blog” and view a few of the results. Each host is a bit different, so take a look at a few of the help sections of the hosts to see which seems most user friendly to you. Please note that IZEA is *not* a blog host. You will have had to create a blog elsewhere before being able to submit it to any IZEA property.
What Do I Blog About?
A better question would be to ask what you CAN’T blog about! Blogs can cover any topic that you can conceive of. Your best bet is to pick a few topics that you are interested in or passionate about.
Once you have created a blog, you will see an option on your blog dashboard to create a new post.

Hi,
In taking a look at the source code of your blog this morning, I do not find the claim sentence within the HTML of your blog's template code.
Something in the way your template is set up is preventing our script from reading this properly. I believe it's the use of the style sheet.
Keep in mind that the way we claim blogs follows the way we check for required links when you submit a post to us, so if you are not able to successfully claim your blog, you will not be able to submit any work to us in the future.
Once the claim sentence can be found in the HTML of your blog's template code, you should have no further trouble claiming.

My sentence is "Keep a marshmallow warm with a fire" You can clearly see it on my blog at http://mickspicksreviews.blogspot.com so the problem you've been having with the software for at least a year doesn't seem to be going away.
I pasted it right into the post. I'd be grateful I guess if you approved it manually but that sure puts a lot more work on you guys. And this has been going on for a year? -
-
Hi,
I apologize for the frustration and confusion. This is not a software issue that needs to be addressed on our end. Mostly, it is a mater of the way the sentence is posted to the blog or, as in your case, the way your template is set up.
As you can see, although you have the sentence posted at your blog, it does not appear in the HTML of your post.
Until the claim code appears in the HTML of your post, our system will not be able to recognize it. Also, while I can claim this blog for you manually, once you begin receiving Offers, if the links we provide you do not appear in your blog template, you will not be able to successfully submit content for payment to PayPerPost.
We are not able to manually submit posts to your account. They all will have to go through the same validation script as the claim.
Once the provided claim sentence appears in the HTML of your post, you should have no further trouble claiming.
All the Best,

HI Ziad,
The claim sentence needs to be on the homepage of your blog and cannot appear under a 'read more' link.
Since you claim sentence appears under a 'read more' link, our script is not picking it up.
If you move this sentence to the top of your post, you should have no further trouble claiming your blog. Once your blog has been successfully claimed, please feel free to remove the claim sentence from your post.

Hi Elizabeth,
The claim sentence needs to appear in a new post on the homepage of your blog and cannot appear under a 'read more' link.
In taking a look at the HTML of your blog this morning, I see the claim sentence is coming back as not found. In searching the HTML, I can see the sentence, but it has a lot of formatting around it and the 'T' in tigers is missing from the code snippet.
I am not sure the excess formatting makes a difference, but if a letter is missing in your HTML from the claim sentence, this would definitely cause failure. I would add the 'T' via the HTML and see if that allows you to claim. If not, you are going to have to simply paste the sentence in as provided without any excess formatting.
All the Best,
