Why have I been deactivated
I use my account for business purposes as well as for referral links. Why has my account been deactivated?

And anyone else who was deactivated with no reason showing or who had recently been active in their account just a few days prior to being deactivated.
As of THIS afternoon (10.05.11) there has been no word from Dev as to the overall cause of this, but they have turned off the deactivation script and are working through this.

In digging into the most recent set of replies, it appears that there is something different going on other than a simple audit decision or inactive deactivation based on the number of you who were deactivated after recently completing actions in your account.
Please know that this is not purposeful and should not be occurring. I have passed all of your information along to the Engineering Team who is currently researching why these deactivations may have happened to ensure this does not continue to inconvenience our Publishers.
Once we know exactly what happened, I am hoping we will be able to restore ClickWatch statuses and PRO accounts in one lovely scripted swoop. This will save me from having to create individual tickets about this and Dev from having to manually correct these one by one.
As soon as I know more, I will be sure to let you know.

Hi Everyone,
Please note that we are currently completing a manual audit of Sponsored Tweets in order to weed out some of the streams that only post automated links or have not been active on Twitter in some time, etc.
The audit process involves us viewing the latest 20 tweets in your stream. If the majority if these are automated tweets, affiliate links or ads with little to no conversational content, your account may be deactivated.
However, if you could please provide me your Twitter handle here, I would be happy to take a second look.

Hi,
In taking a look at your stream, I see that the first tweet was posted on December 29th, so your account is not actually eligible for Sponsored Tweets until February 27th.
In addition, it looks like you created 100 tweets very quickly of random phrases and links which do not represent any sort of coherent message or interaction with your followers.
Because of this we are not able to include your stream at this time. However, the audit is an ongoing process so we will take another look at your account in 90 days. If your stream becomes a better fit for Sponsored Tweets by that time, we would be happy to reconsider it for inclusion then.

Well, I just got a notice that my sponsored tweet account will be deactivated in 30 days because I haven't accessed it. If they were giving me more opportunities then I would have more reasons to visit it often but the truth is they have not given me one for months now. -

To be included in Sponsored Tweets, your Twitter content does need to be more interactive with your followers.

No they are not auto-generated content. I add tweets there and they get published. I can show you my account where I enter tweets like jokes, comments. If there is any latest happenings, I tweet from my laptop or mobile device.

Hi Normah,
In taking a look at your account this afternoon, I see that you only have one keyword listed and it's 'affiliate marketing.' This means that in order to get matched with an Advertiser, they would have to search for streams tagged 'affiliate marketing,' which is not likely.
Keep in mind that the keywords in your Sponsored Tweets account are not like SEO tags. These are going to be the major themes you blog about. Such as entertainment, sports, family, food, etc.
You can edit these via the 'my account' tab at the top right of your Sponsored Tweets account.

There really isn't a magic solution for this. The number of Offers you get depends on a lot of factors including your asking price, number of followers & keywords. The engagement of your followers is taken into consideration as well as the quality of your stream (do you talk to people? Do you tweet only links, etc?)
It also depends on which Advertisers are in the system at any given time and what type of Tweeters they are looking for as well as how many other Tweeters match the same basic criteria.
Because of all this, it's difficult to say when Offers may come. It's mostly just a waiting game.
